Designed for the real world.
At RISTICH, I worked on two collectible popcorn bucket designs for an unannounced Netflix feature film, translating highly detailed VFX character models into objects that could be manufactured.
The horse was developed from a 50-million-plus polygon VFX reference. I cleaned and joined the geometry in Blender and Rhino 3D, created a hollow solid with a precise 2 mm wall thickness, resolved undercuts, and designed working hinges before painting the final review model in Substance Painter.
From VFX horse to physical form.
The horse began as a dense character asset. I rebuilt its geometry for production, preserving the sculptural detail while allowing the pieces to be formed, opened, and assembled.
Refining Aslan.
Another artist sculpted the Aslan model. I cleaned up the 20-million-plus polygon asset, removed undercuts, prepared it for production, and textured the final look.
